Homeschool Association of the Philippine Islands held their first media launch last March 10, at Expo Kids in Rockwell.
The first official event of Homeschool Association of the Philippine Islands was a sports and fun games event for the homeschooling parents and children. It was held in the PhilSports Arena (formerly Ultra) where all the participating families were divided into different teams.
Last October 22, 2011, Homeschool Association of the Philippine Islands (HAPI) came up with the idea of a Bible fest to encourage and challenge homeschooling parents and children to become more active and purposeful in reading and studying God’s Word. The activities were a wide range of puzzles, question-and-answer problems, fill-in-the blank challenges, mind-wracking trivia that covered many events, topics, verses, and characters all the way from the Old Testament to the New Testament.
